What made me one ?
Well, after my first visit to Hunting Island state park located in South Carolina.
I became one.
It was my first visit, to a lighthouse.
I will never forget when I first laid sight on this Lighthouse.
It was a sight to see.
The climb to the top, was something else.
Fun, but boy, their was lots of steps to climb.
After making the journey to the top of the Lighthouse.
I was very tired, but when I carefully made that first step onto the platform.
All that was forgotten, Wow.......... the view was breathtaking to say the least.
I will never forget how far you could see.
It was like taking a plane trip without a buying a ticket or leaving the ground.
I do remember that cool breeze on my face, and it felted so good.
Especially, on that very warm summer day.
From the very first experience, I was hooked !
I was a Lighthouse enthusiast !
