A walk into the past

As I walked thru the forest, away from civilization, I started to get the feeling, that I have stepped back into the pasted, back into the world that used to exist, Am I alone, no, theres life everywhere, theres life in me.

I stop to see, the life that is all around me, The trees, The plants, Wait, I hear something in the brushwood, what is that, My eyes search for the source of the unknown, I can see it now, It's a doe, staring at me, you can see, the fear, in her eye's, as she is trying to figure out, Who am I, Friend or Foe

I think to myself, you need not to fear me, I would not do you harm, But the doe, Fears, this human, that has invaded her world, She starts to leap, I hear the crackling and pops of the branches, as she is running away, from the fear, that has overtaken her

As I continued my walked, I started to wondered, is this the way it used to be, Before man, grace this world, with his present.
